LIT (Leaders In Training)
The Leaders in Training (LIT) program is crafted to empower emerging leaders with meaningful experiences that develop their abilities and deepen their understanding of core leadership principles. As an LIT, you’ll be equipped and encouraged to grow into an extraordinary servant leader through challenging, life-shaping opportunities. This growth isn’t limited to camp—our goal is to help you become a confident, capable leader at home, school, church, and in your community.
Throughout the program, you’ll explore key leadership concepts such as group dynamics, personality strengths, conflict management, leading with care, and effective teamwork. You’ll also have the chance to shadow camp leadership roles and gain practical insight into what it means to serve with excellence. We hope the LIT experience stretches you, inspires you, and helps you discover the leader you are becoming.
Our LIT program is a five-night camp filled with adventure, personal growth, team bonding, and opportunities to experience God in meaningful ways. While you enjoy all the fun of camp, you’ll also gain hands-on experience in the many ways LITs serve and support camp life. After completing your training, you’ll have the opportunity to join the Seggie team for an additional week—putting your new skills into action. During this week, you will continue to grow through leadership shadowing, training sessions, devotions, chapels, and active service.
We are excited to offer two LIT camps this year and look forward to seeing you step into the leader you were created to be.
