School Fun Days

Looking for a year end trip that will be a day to remember? Well Camp Seggie has something exciting just for your school.

Our Camp staff will lead your students in a variety of fun filled activities throughout the day taking advantage of our wonderful facilities. Students have the opportunity to participate in camp wide games, scale our 30 ft climbing wall, swim in our pool, fly down our 150 ft water slide, challenge themselves on the ropes course, try their hand at archery and play various sports like ball hockey and basketball. Teachers are welcome to participate in any activity they choose or they can simply enjoy the beauty of PEI’s south shore while relaxing on the deck with a hot cup of coffee.

Our Seggie Fun Days are incredibly action packed. We aim to do a lot of fun activities throughout each day. We are quite flexible with arrivals and departures and work quite hard to accommodate your schedule.

We can accommodate groups ranging from 75-200 students from either Elementary or Junior High Schools.

NEW - Camp Seggie is pleased to offer an exciting new Year End Fun Day specifically for our Junior High Schools. The Camp Seggie Challenge is an action packed day where classes compete against each other in both physical and mental challenges. In the morning classes will rotate through Camp Seggie’s great activities and in the afternoon the challenge will begin.

How much does Camp Seggie Fun Day cost?
Our price has been reduced. A full day at Camp Seggie is now only $9.50 per student plus HST. Staff members are free of charge.

When do we pay?
Payment can be made when you arrive at Camp Seggie for your scheduled Fun Day.  We accept cash, cheque, credit card or Interact payment.

Who runs the activities?
A number of our summer staff (mostly University-age students) are hired a month early to run Camp Seggie Fun Days. We have trained and qualified staff to run our climbing wall and certified lifeguards at the pool and water slide.

What time do we arrive and depart?
This is entirely up to your school and your busing situation. We ask that you simply give us notice when giving your final numbers and we will work around your schedule.

What about peanut allergies?
Camp Seggie is peanut aware environment. We do not cook or serve food that contains peanut ingredients.

What happens if it rains on our scheduled day?
Our facilities are best designed for outdoor activities and our program is best designed around the outdoors. Unless it is pouring, we will run our program (without the climbing wall).

Unfortunately we cannot book rain dates.

What are the responsibilities of the teaching staff on that day?
Teachers are welcome to relax on our deck or to participate in any or all activities they choose. We do ask that teachers are available to supervise their students at meal time.

What should my students bring?
    - Bagged lunch and snack
- Water bottle
- Sunscreen and hat
- Bug Spray
- Bathing suit and towel
- Sneakers (for climbing wall and games)
- Warm clothing (if the day is overcast or cool).
- Rain gear if there is a possibility of rain.

How many students can you accommodate?
We can run an excellent program with 150-200 students. If your school does not have 150 students we will book you with another school.
What grades is this program suitable for?
We can run this program for students in Elementary or Junior High.

This camp is owned by the Baptist Association of PEI. Will there be a religious component to the day?
No, the day will not contain any scheduled religious or spiritual components. It will simply be a fun, action packed day and your students will have a blast.
